I ordered a few things on Amazon a couple of weeks ago for Willows birthday. When the boxes came in, I set them in the family room and told her that some presents had arrived. I didn't open the boxes since we had a few days left to go before the special day.
One morning, while she was sleeping, I started opening them. Inside, I got a little surprise of my own. I must have forgotten to take this book out of my cart before ordering.
I have wanted this book for a couple of years now but usually buying something for myself isn't a big priority.
The Bucolic Plague, How Two Manhattanites Became Gentleman Farmers.
The gist of the book is that these two life partners leave their bustling lives in Manhattan. Josh with a successful advertising career and Brent, a doctor. They buy a mansion on a farm, in upstate New York. The book chronicles their experience and promises to be a funny, charming, read.
I can't wait. We are still making this decision, and there is obviously something in this book that I am meant to read.
